SAD Signs From Bruins’ Savard Regarding Comeback To The NHL (VIDEOS)

This Will Be The Last Happy Image Of Marc Savard.

It’s almost been two years since Bruins’ forward Marc Savard received his second major concussion and he has not played a game since.

Most Bruins fans can recall where they were when Marc Savard received a forearm shiver from the Penguins’ Matt Cooke which left him crumpled on the ice.

And he his career would be changed FOREVER.

Most Bruins fans can look back with a smile and remember Savard’s OT winner against the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2010 playoffs. Unfortunately, that was the LAST HAPPY image of Marc Savard on the ice.

He was not on the ice with his teammates when they hoisted the Stanley Cup in Vancouver. The Bruins did petition for Savard to get his name on the Holy Hockey Chalice which was approved and rightfully so.

But Matt Cooke STOLE that moment to celebrate a championship with his teammates on the ice and he can NEVER  get that back.

But Savard still deserved to be immortalized for eternity because of his vital role in turning around the Bruins franchise. With the signing of Savard and Zdeno Chara, the “Spoked-B’ became RELEVANT again on the Boston sports scene.

Then he received one HELL of a RAW DEAL.

Bruins and hockey fans everywhere were holding out hope that Savard would make a TRIUMPHANT RETURN.

Unfortunately, there will be NO fairy tale ending for #91:

This is the classic case that BAD things happen to GOOD people.

Hang in there Marc and focus on what is REALLY IMPORTANT…..your health and your family.
