Boston Celtics Tweets of Interest: Recovering Bradley Supports Teammates, Leandro Barbosa Is A Celtic

The Boston Celtics have less than a week until the 2012-’13 season begins in Miami against the defending champion Heat. Their last preseason game was on Sunday in a loss to the Philadelphia 76ers at TD Garden.

Both players and fans are looking forward to the October 30th game against former Celtic Ray Allen. While fans and Celtics  beat reporters discuss who will be in the starting lineup on Tuesday, the Celtics’ players are in preparation mode.

Here are a couple of tweets from Celtics’ players.

Celtics guard Avery Bradley may be out due to his double shoulder surgery this summer, but he continues to support his teammates. This tweet was in response to the Celtics’ 109-98 victory over the New York Knicks on Saturday. When Bradley does come back, he will compete for minutes with Courtney Lee, Jason Terry, and newly acquired Leandro Barbosa.

Barbosa is fitting in well with his new teammates because he just wants to win. This is a player who has come off the bench throughout his career. Like Terry, Barbosa doesn’t care about his role as long as he helps the Celtics claim their 18th championship. This team may not be as talented as the 2007-’08 roster, but they could  be deeper.
