Secondary SAVIOR? Patriots Acquire CB Aqib Talib From Tampa

Talib Is An INSTANT UPGRADE To The Patriots Secondary

The much MALIGNED Patriots secondary received a much needed BOOST today. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, New England acquired cornerback Aqib Talib from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Patriots traded a 2013 fourth round pick for Talib and a seventh round pick.

Talib is currently serving a 4 game suspension because he took an Adderall pill without a prescription “around the beginning of training camp.”

Talib is a five year veteran, former first round pick and free agent after this season. He has 18 career interceptions returning three for touchdowns. He is an INSTANT UPGRADE to the Patriots’ 28th ranked pass defense.
