B’s Beat: The Andrew Ference Scrapbook…You Will Be Missed 21 (PHOTOS/VIDEOS)
Andrew Ference’s seven year run with the Boston Bruins has ended and his departure will leave a HUGE void. Ference gave Bruins fans a lifetime of memories in such a short time.
Ference was acquired on February 10, 2007 with Chuck Kobasew from Calgary for Brad Stuart and Wayne Primeau (the remains of the Joe Thornton trade). His first three years with Boston were riddled with injuries and many fans questioned management why they resigned him.
Wow, did they prove us wrong!
They knew Ference was a character player and leader in the locker room. He led by example and was a model teammate.
