Celtics Tweets of Interest: Jared Sullinger is Self-Efficient; MarShon Brooks Predicts Big Season for Providence

boston-celtics-logo (1)While Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens’ sent a letter to former Celtics’ players, his current players are tweeting about their everyday life. Stevens wrote a letter asking all of the ex-Celtics to come to practices and games. The letter leaked out to the media.

Here are two tweets from Celtics’ players:

Jared Sullinger is the Celtics’ serial tweeter. He will have a tweet every few hours during the day. Celtics fans will be happy that Sullinger can make his own dentist appointment and cooking on the grill. Now, how is your back doing? Will you be ready for the first game in Toronto? All of these questions are more pertinent for Celtics fans.

Newly acquired Celtics guard MarShon Brooks is already prepared to cheer for his Providence Friars in College Basketball. Brooks played for Providence before he was drafted with the 25th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Celtics. He was sent to the then-New Jersey Nets for JaJuan Johnson (27th overall choice) and the Nets’ 2014 second-round selection. The Big East may be weaker with the departures of Pittsburgh and Syracuse to the ACC and the conference breaking apart, but Providence would still not make the Top 25. Of course, if Rick Pitino came back to Providence, then the Friars would have a shot of getting into the Top 25. Sorry, MarShon, Pitino “is not walking through that door.”
