Celtics Tweets of Interest: Kelly Olynyk at Canobie Lake Park; Jared Sullinger Prepared for 2013-’14 Season
Boston Celtics forward Jared Sullinger appeared on Ohio’s “Good Day Columbus” show earlier this week. Sullinger made a different time for Rajon Rondo’s return than Celtics President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge. Ainge and head coach Brad Stevens has said that Rondo will be in the starting lineup for the season opener on October 30th against the Toronto Raptors.
“He’s back working out again and hopefully he will be back by December,” said Sullinger.
When training camp opens in a month, there will be many questions about Rondo. Everyone will get a clear look on whether Rondo will be ready for Opening Night or not.
The rest of the players are enjoying their final month of freedom.
Had a great time today at the beautiful Canobie Lake Park with the MSPCC Kids! Got a little wet but well worth it! pic.twitter.com/w7MvB1bazl

Celtics rookie Kelly Olynyk enjoyed his time at Canobie Lake Park with children from MSPCC (Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children). The 7-footer tweeted a photo of the entrance to Canobie Lake in Salem, New Hampshire. There was another photo in the Metro section of The Boston Globe of Olynyk on a ride with the children. The expectations for Olynyk continue to rise as he finished third in the voting for the Rookie of the Year in a yearly rookie survey.

Sullinger is ready for training camp to commence. Fans are hoping the second-year forward will have no limitations from his back surgery in February. The 6-foot-9-inch forward should be ready for the opener in Toronto.
