  • Hey,

I saw the “Write for Us” section of the website and am very interested. I am a college graduate who went to Suffolk University and received an BSJ, majoring in Communications. I am from Wilmington originally before moving to Boston for college and Austin, Texas after graduating.

In high school I played baseball and hockey and continued playing baseball throughout college. My favorite Boston/ New England sports (in order) are the Bruins, Red Sox, Patriots, BC Hockey and then the Celtics. If I were to get the opportunity to write I would like to focus on the Hockey East since there doesn’t seem to be a focus on it.

I just recently left my position as a medical software consultant for a start up that ended up getting pretty big. Just like many others I would like a career in sports writing or blogging and need a start somewhere. This looks like an incredible opportunity! Also I recently left my job at Gartner in Texas and would like to have something to occupy my mind while perusing future occupation and then continuing to write after finding a mind numbing job.

I’ll be traveling from Texas to Massachusetts next week, but if you’d like me to write something I certainly could.

    Best,

    Brian
