Finally In Focus: Attending The Patriots Season Ticket Holder Focus Group 2
After 17 years, my voice was finally heard.
As you may recall, back in the summer of 2010 I was chosen or so I thought for a focus group for Patriots Season ticket holders. After some ambiguous emails and canned responses, I was told that I would not be needed to voice my opinion. To say the least, I was rather displeased and I decided to blog about my unpleasant experience.
I was then attacked and labeled “entitled” by many Patriots “fans” and imposters. All I wanted was to be given the opportunity to share my experiences and opinions of being a paying customer of the New England Patriots for the past 16 years. I guess it’s a sin or crime to speak your mind.
As fate would have it, I would not have been able to attend the focus group anyway due to a family emergency. The chapter on this season ticket holder saga closed or so I thought.
Flash forward to December of 2011, I received an email from KJ Warren, Market Research and Strategy Analyst for the Kraft Sports Group. And who would have thunk it? It was an invitation to a season ticket holder focus group. Evidently, they did not google “Patriots season ticket holder focus group”. If they did, they may have black listed me for my write up on my less than satisfying experience.
Of course, I graciously accepted!
Who said you don’t get a second chance?
The focus group was scheduled for December 7th at 6PM sharp. And when they mean sharp they mean sharp as outlined in their email:
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of your Focus Group. It’s imperative that you arrive on time as the Focus Group will start at 6:00 PM. We will not be able to allow entry into the session after it begins.
