Can you believe it’s been almost four months since ‘Palooza I?

It was a smashing success with over 80 sports bloggers, fans, and Boston media members from WEEI, NESN, The Boston Herald, and Comcast SportsNet New England congregating at the Baseball Tavern for day of sports talk. It didn’t matter if you wrote for your own website or blogged for a major media outlet, everyone shared one thing…..there undying passion for Boston sports.

Friendships were forged.

Business deals were made.

Jobs were found.

These were just a few of great things that came out of Boston Sports Blogapalooza I.

Very few sequels match the success of the original but Boston Sports Blogapalooza II is ready to break the mold!

Are You Ready to Get Your Blog On?

As a wise man once said, things happen for a reason.

I completely buy that.

Blogapalooza has had it’s share of obstacles, but what doesn’t kill Palooza only makes it stronger!

All of this holds true to the evolution of Boston Sports Blogapalooza.

What is Blogapalooza you ask?

Boston Sports Blogapalooza is an event where social media and Beantown sports collide. Bloggers, their fans, and Boston Media members will have the opportunity to meet, network, trade social media tips and of course talk sports.

Now that you know what it is, your next question is who is going?

Boston Bloggers spanning all five major sports will be attendance. The Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, Bruins, and even the Revolution will be represented on May 2^nd at the Baseball Tavern. BSB has risen from the ashes like a pissed Phoenix!

Just like phoenix rising from the ashes, ‘Palooza is back!

You can’t stop Boston Sports Blogapalooza; you only hope you can contain it!

The Baseball Tavern has stepped up in a very big way and the event has been rescheduled for Sunday, May 2nd.

To refresh everyone’s memory, Blogapalooza is an event where social media and Beantown sports collide. Bloggers, their fans, and Boston Media members will have the opportunity to meet, network, trade social media tips and of course talk sports.

Blogapalooza is a networking event with a festival feel. Mix in some great food (provided by The Baseball Tavern), cool music (The Hootchies and Brian Richard), wicked awesome companies (Swing Juice), some frosty beverages (cash bar), raffle prizes and you have the recipe for a fantastic Sunday!!

BSB will be held on Sunday, March 28th at Jerry Remy's at Fenway.

An idea is just that unless others share your passion for the concept. Well the Boston Sports Blogapalooza(BSB) Express is rolling down the tracks and people are jumping on board.

BSB has only been on the drawing board for about two weeks and everything is coming together beyond my expectations.

My idea to put together a tweet up for Bruins fans morphed into something even bigger. I thought to myself, why not get all the Boston sports bloggers together in one place?

These Social Media Outlets for Sports (bloggers) can finally meet, trade social media tips, and talk shop in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Then I thought why not incorporate the Boston media, local companies, and music.

Media of both types (social and traditional) could mingle and discuss all the hot topics on the Boston Sports Scene.

Local companies could network with bloggers about their products and services. Partnerships between these companies and social media outlets would be agreed upon right at the event.

Bloggers can help promote and build a buzz about their partners’ offerings.

In return, bloggers would generate revenue through these cross promotions.

Everyone one wins!
